Chat
Use this module if you'd like to provide a chat room (i.e. a place
for students to exchange short messages in real time) for your students.
You can think of Chat as a conference call where participants type
their messages instead of talking. Unlike Manhattan's
other modules, Chat is an asynchronous
medium. For two people to chat, both need to be
logged into the same Manhattan classroom and in the Chat module at the
same time. For that reason, Chat sessions need to be scheduled in
advance.
